13 Fakta Unik Haji

Menunaikan ibadah Haji merupakan impian setiap umat karena Haji merupakan salah satu rukun Islam, namun ternyata Haji menyimpan banyak fakta menarik. Apa saja itu ?

1. Thawaf (berputar mengelilingi Kabah)

Telah dilakukan umat sejak nabi-nabi sebelum Nabi Ibrahim. Thawaf meniru malaikat-malaikat yang mengelilingi Kabah nurani di surga. Thawaf sebagai ritual Haji ditafsirkan sebagai simbol penyatuan dengan gerak alami, seperti alam semesta yang bergerak dengan cara berputar.

2. SaI (berlari-lari kecil antara bukit Shafa dan Marwah)

Dilakukan untuk mengenang istri Nabi Ibrahim, Hajar, sewaktu berjuang mencari air untuk bayi mereka yang kehausan, Ismail. Maknanya, sesungguhnya Allah menghargai setiap usaha manusia walau manusia merasa gagal. Hasil yang Dia berikan bisa datang dari arah yang tak terduga karena tidak ada usaha yang sia-sia di mata Allah.

3. Wukuf (berdiam diri di padang Arafah)

Untuk mengenang bertemunya kembali Nabi Adam dengan Siti Hawa setelah berpisah cukup lama di bumi. Adam dan Hawa diperintah Allah keluar dari Surga ke dunia karena melanggar perintahNya untuk tidak menyentuh buah khuldi.

4. Lempar Jumroh

Lempar jumrah atau lontar jumrah adalah sebuah kegiatan yang merupakan bagian dari ibadah haji tahunan ke kota suci Mekkah, Arab Saudi. Para jemaah haji melemparkan batu-batu kecil ke tiga tiang (jumrah; bahasa Arab: jamarah, jamak: jamaraat) di kota Mina yang terletak dekat Mekkah.

5. Mengambil Batu di Muzdalifah

Para jemaah haji harus mengambil batu kerikil untuk melempar jumrah. Mereka mengambil di daerah yang bernaman Muzdalifah, uniknya batu kerikil di daerah ini tidak pernah habis.

6. Jumlah jamaah Haji

Total dari seluruh dunia setiap tahun selalu meningkat, tahun 2011 sebesar 2,5 juta jamaah dari seluruh dunia. 1,8 juta berasal dari luar Arab dan 800ribu berasal dari Arab.

7. Personel keamanan khusus

Arab Saudi menyiapkan personel keamanan khusus untuk ibadah Haji sebanyak 63 ribu pasukan, 22 ribu diantaranya berasal dari sipil, dan 6000 kendaraan. Ada sekitar 20 ribu petugas kesehatan untuk membantu jamaah Haji.

8. Luas Masjidil Haram

Luas Masjidil Haram saat ini 365 ribu meter persegi. Direncanakan tahun 2020 diperluas menjadi 587.250 meter persegi. Jika di hari-hari biasa (selain musim haji) dapat menampung 900 ribu jamaah, maka di musim Haji dapat menampung hingga 2 juta-an jamaah. Saat ini sedang ditingkatkan kapasitasnya untuk dapat menampung hingga 4 juta jamaah.

9. Air zamzam

Jumlah air zamzam yang dibagikan untuk jamaah Haji mencapai jutaan liter. Air zamzam ini sudah ada sejak jaman Nabi Ibrahim. Hingga kini menjadi sumber air bersih utama di Mekkah dan belum pernah mengalami kekeringan.

10. Ka'bah

Dibangun pertama kali oleh Nabi Adam. Nabi Ibrahim menemukan kembali atas petunjuk Allah dan membangunnya ulang dibantu Nabi Ismail. Kini Ka'bah terbuat dari marmer dan granit. Pintunya terbuat dari 280 kg emas murni. Kelambu hitam yang menutupi (kiswah) terbuat dari sutra terbaik dan kaligrafinya disulam dari benang emas dan perak seberat 150 kg.

11. Kuota Haji Indonesia

Kuota Haji untuk Indonesia setiap tahunnya adalah 211 ribu jamaah, 194 ribu jamaah Haji regular dan 17ribu jamaah Haji khusus. Indonesia merupakan Negara dengan jamaah Haji terbanyak.

12. Kurma Ajwa

Kurma ini yang dahulu sering di makan Nabi Muhammad SAW. jenis kurma yang paling lezat diantara kurma lainnya. khasiat dari kurma ini adalah di yakini bisa menyembuhakn penyakit dan racun.

13. Makam Rosulloh

Makam (pusara) Rasullullah SAW terletak di sebelah Timur Masjid Nabawi. Di tempat ini dahulu terdapat dua rumah, yaitu rumah Rasulullah SAW bersama Aisyah dan rumah Ali dengan Fatimah. Sejak Rasulullah SAW wafat pada tahun 11 H (632 M), rumah Rasullullah `SAW terbagi dua.Bagian arah kiblat (Selatan) utk makam Rasulullah SAW dan bagian Utara utk tempat tinggal Aisyah.
