  The guitars are in Dropped-D tuning (DADGBE low to high)
  
  The guitar parts where there are notated harmonics, as well as the whammied solo,
  are in fact natural harmonic feedback on the studio recording. All instances with
  the exception the solo are overdubbed.
  
  When played live Lifeson uses pre-recorded triggered samples to recreate the exact
  feedback sound of the studio recording. Even if you are a master at totally
  controlling harmonic feedback, this is difficult to reproduce live unless if you
  have a guitar equipped with a Sustainiac or Fernandes Sustainer System (like I do!)  ;)
